Terms & Conditions

Last updated: October 8, 2026

These Terms & Conditions govern the relationship between Visit ME and any person who uses the services offered on visitmiddleeast.net. Using those services means accepting these terms in the version in force on the day of use.

Scope

These terms apply to every service offered on visitmiddleeast.net, including free access to editorial content, newsletters and any subscription or paid service published on the site.

Terms proposed by a user that conflict with these terms do not apply unless we accept them in writing.

The publisher

visitmiddleeast.net is published by Visit ME, Street Street. Contact: john@john.uk.

The site is hosted by the publisher’s hosting provider.

Services

We publish editorial content and, where offered, newsletters, alerts and subscriber services. The extent of the free offer, and of any paid offer, is described on the relevant pages of the site.

We may adapt, suspend or discontinue a service. Where a paid service is discontinued, the part of the price covering the unserved period is refunded.

Accounts and subscriptions

Where a service requires an account, you must give accurate details and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for the use made of your account until you tell us it has been compromised.

Prices, billing periods and renewal conditions of a paid service are those shown at the moment of purchase.

Consumer withdrawal and dispute resolution

A consumer in the European Union has fourteen days to withdraw from a distance contract, unless the withdrawal right is excluded by law — in particular for digital content whose supply started with the consumer’s express prior consent and acknowledgement that the right is lost.

The European Commission provides an online dispute resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We can also be reached directly at john@john.uk, which is usually the faster route.

Intellectual property

The content published on visitmiddleeast.net — text, photographs, video, graphics, logos and layout — is protected by copyright and related rights, and belongs to John McEnroe or to its licensors.

You may consult and share the content for private use and quote it with attribution and a link. Any other reproduction, adaptation or commercial reuse needs our prior written agreement.

Liability

We take care that the published information is accurate at the moment of publication, but editorial content does not constitute professional advice and is provided without warranty of completeness.

We are liable for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, and for damage to life, body or health, without limitation. Otherwise our liability is limited to foreseeable damage typical of this kind of contract. Statutory consumer rights are unaffected.

Applicable law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the law of the publisher’s country of establishment, United Kingdom, without prejudice to the mandatory protective rules of the country where a consumer resides.

The courts of the place of our registered office have jurisdiction for disputes with a professional counterparty. A consumer may bring proceedings before the courts of their own place of residence.

Amendments

We may amend these terms to reflect a change in our services or in the applicable law. Users of a paid or subscription service are informed before an amendment takes effect and may terminate it if they do not accept the change.
